Channel your inner Indiana Jones in Museum! Each player takes on the persona of a museum curator, assigned to and responsible for filling their museum with the most prestigious collections possible from around the world. Collections are organized by continents, civilizations, and domains. Two artifacts (cards) are revealed each round and in turn-order are picked by each curator to place in their museum or used as currency. Points are assigned by placing artifacts and organizing the collection and museum most effectively. However, be aware that public opinion may swiftly change to favor some regions, and if they're not getting the proper attention from you, it may be quite costly.

This was among the most unique board games my wife and I have played! For anyone with an affinity for game art, Museum should be in your collection. We've played this game 4-5 times and we continue to learn more and more. Each card is beautifully done and has factual history on each artifact, so it's tough not to gawk at them while your strategizing. What makes this game so intriguing is the various strategies players can use to win. There are so many different types of collections you can put together and take advantage of some ancillary rules and options like expert or object cards that will buff your museum. Plus you have secret objectives you're trying to achieve before the end as well. After we played a couple of times, we started using the non-linear side of museum boards which increases the complexity. Finally, you can also adjust the difficulty by raising the number of public opinion cards.

Pro Tip: You can continuously configure your museum throughout the game, so you're not committed to where you first place an artifact.
